PENTECO, LLC, seeks  Property/Casualty Insurance Agents (or Agents-In-Training) to fill positions as Exclusive Agents in the following areas: Arlington County, Prince William County, Loudon County and Richmond, for Auto, Homeowner, Boat, Motorcycle insurance, etc.

PENTECO, LLC, is a 25-year-old insurance agency based in Alexandria looking to expand in Northern Virginia.  Applicant must be a licensed Property/Casualty insurance agent in Virginia OR must be willing to train for such license.  PENTECO will provide all training and will pay for approved education class, licensing with Virginia insurance bureau, and appointment with one or more insurance companies of our selection.  In return, Agent will solicit insurance business exclusively for PENTECO for an agreed period, and must meet pre-determined monthly production quota(s). 

MUST be mobile within designated Territory to sell/service clients
AND have computer!!

Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative position is a key link to the overall sales growth of our Agency.  This position is a combination of sales and service.  Through providing quality service to our current clients by answering questions and updating policy information in a timely manner we maintain our client base.   Through obtaining quote information for the Agents to provide timely quotes to prospects we grow our business.   The CSR is the first impression our clients have of the Agency and is a valued team member.

Essential Job Functions

• Create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our clients and potential clients.

• Answer incoming phone calls for PENTECO and VISIT Insurance Plans

• Process Endorsement changes online with appropriate carrier- address, car, driver, and coverage changes

• Mail change requests and payment confirmations to client along with newsletter

• Process client payments online

• Take down information for quote calls and applications for VISIT Insurance program

• Quote auto applications in the ITC rater for Agent to be able to return quote calls  

• Mail quote letters

• Client personal follow-up - Mail Welcome Letters and policies to clients and contact the client as needed

• Assist with market and sales research by tracking quotes and sales

• Follow-up on client payments- Contact clients for payments and send follow-up post cards

• Contact insurance carriers to update files

• Maintain client database and process ID Cards for the International insurance plans

• Update Client Phone # Contact List

• Maintaining client files

 Additional Job Functions

• Assist with marketing campaigns

• Assist with office organizational development

• Assist with newsletter preparation and client communications

Requirements

• Ability to work with a diverse client base

• Strong communication skills

• Outgoing and energetic personality

• Basic working knowledge of Word and Excel

• Basic working knowledge of the internet and email

• Willingness to learn and take initiative

• Honest and dependable

 Other Skills/Abilities

• Organizational skills desired

• Bilingual is a PLUS!!!
